Yohji Yamamoto

Yohji Yamamoto 山本 耀司 is a Japanese fashion designer  based in Tokyo and Paris. Considered a master tailor alongside those such as Madeleine Vionnet, he is known for his avant-garde tailoring featuring Japanese design aesthetics.

  1. Personally I was a huge fan to his design, simple, well-tailored and sophisticated at the same time. He is one on the Japanese designers who ruled an era with people like Rei Kawakubo and Issey Miyake. His designs were popular in the 90s and we can see the paris
    background throughout his design. I wish you to be more specific about his design and how it is different than others and why you like him.
